The Library has UX people in their IT department. (Katie Bauer was originally the Usability Librarian, and they hired a new one in November.) Though we aren’t expanding past our group(s) for now, in the project plan it’s probably a good idea to slot a conversation with them. Besides getting some usability advice and/or testing, that’s free advertisement for the site and possibly recruitment of content generators and SMEs. Beware any attempt to squeeze it into a LibGuide, though! :-)

Meerkat, and Periscope from Twitter.

PowerPoint’s already here, but add Keynote, reveal.js / Slid.es, and/or other options. I know we’re trying to hit the high notes, so Haiku Deck’s not so important, but reveal.js is so great I’d volunteer to write it up.

For moving from one media format to another, or (possibly a more common use case) for moving from Keynote to PowerPoint.

e.g. Zamzar, CloudConvert

I would be interested to know if any of the Yale schools or departments are offering business subscriptions to Evernote for students, faculty or staff. There is a blog post from Yale ITS from 2014 suggesting that there is something like this.
